Useful Parent Info

Where to go on their first day:

We will be inviting you to a play and stay session at the beginning of term. The letter will tell you where to go and what times.

If you have requested transport from the authority then their transport office will be in touch with you towards the end of August.

Make sure all clothing and belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name

Lunch boxes:

Children will be provided with a free school dinner however many parents still like to send in a packed lunch with food that they know their child likes to eat. We encourage parents to provide a healthy and balanced packed lunch.

Nappies & personal care products:

A week’s supply of nappies, wet wipes.

Any medication your child may needs along a completed medical form giving us permission to administer. This form can be found at the back of the medical forms you will be asked to complete.

What to bring in:

Spare clothes (not uniform) – 2x trousers, 2x tops 1x jumper, 1x plimsolls, 2 x socks, 2 x pants (if toilet trained)

P.E kit – white t-shirt, loose shorts, plimsolls.

Wellington boots.

Swimming kit: Costume/trunks & towel. (These will be kept and washed at school) swimming nappies if not toilet trained.

Uniform:

Order your child’s uniform from our website. Please click HERE to be taken to the uniform order page.

If you do not have access to the internet, please request a form from reception.

We advise purchasing the new starter pack which consists of 2 sweatshirts & 3 polo shirts. Fleeces and coats are optional extras. White PE shirts with logos can also be purchased through School Trends, although your child can also wear a plain white T shirt if you prefer.  You are also able to order plain items such as trousers/skirts although you may wish to buy them cheaper elsewhere.  We would recommend black or grey trousers/skirts or children can wear dark jogging bottoms if it is more comfortable for them.

Jogging bottoms and shoes and plimsolls with Velcro will aid your child towards independence.

Book bags and water bottles can be purchased directly through the school office.

If your child is entitled to pupil premium you will receive 1x polo shirt 1x Sweatshirt OR cardigan & 1x white PE shirt for free.
