The Theme this week is Jungle Explorer
Create paper chains to make vines or snakes!
Create a tiger hand print or cardboard roll tiger
Use wipe lids to create an animal guessing game
Make a lolly stick croc using a lolly stick and a pipe cleaner
Make a big bubbly container of water and paint to create bubble flowers
Make a monkey face paper plate
Paint some stones to create a stone plant
Role play a jungle with the small world animal cut outs
Make a jungle collage
Try a shaving foam marbling tiger-spray shaving foam into a tray, squeeze some orange and black paint/food colouring in, swirl it around with the end of a spoon, place a picture of an outline of a tiger over the top and press down into the foam, lift the paper off and scrape off excess shaving foam with a ruler to reveal a marbled orange and black pattern, cut out the tiger outline.
Print/make jungle animal masks
Make lizard/tropical bird sensory bags (fill a transparent ziplock bag with a variety of coloured paints and draw a lizard/bird onto the bag, then squeeze the paint to move it around the bag mixing the colours to make a colourful animal)
Make a jungle jar by collecting different types of leaves and sticks and putting them inside a clear jar
Camouflaged animals in the jungle
Use the pictures to match the animals with the skins
Hide pictures of animals and find them using cardboard roll binoculars to look through.
