Employee Assistance Programme

As part of the Southampton City Council, staff are entitled to contact the Employee Assistance Programme run by Health Assured. The assistance programme is designed to support you, your partner or children living with you (between the ages of 16-24) deal with personal problems that may adversely impact your work performance, life, health & wellbeing. 

 

The programme offers assistance for a wide range of issues including:

Legal queries - consumer rights, debt or domestic matters

Personal - marital, relationship & family concerns, emotional issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, substance abuse and more

Work - 24 hour confidential support

Health - advice on health issues including symptoms & treatments, medications & surgery, lifestyle programmes (quitting smoking) and more

Dependent care - advice on caring for children, elderly relatives and disabled dependants
